We stop here for a variety of veggies and then go across the street Cafetal Quilombo for food to go. This place always has fresh produce that looks good - Organic and regular - at reasonable prices. Nice neighborhood vibe for Seattle.

Been going here for AGES! So sad to see it go. Last day is 10/8/23, go visit them one last time while you still can! Borracchini's, Mutual Fish, now MacPherson's.

I've been away from Seattle the past 6 years living in Vegas. There is nothing to compare to McPhersons in Vegas. Upon my return to Seattle this past week, one of the first places I went to was McPhersons. My daughter I picked out a variety of fruit, melons, veggies and salads. Everything was fresh and yummy. There is nothing better than fresh fruits and veggies. The place looks the same where you can easily find what you need along with some novelty items. Service was great and we were in and out in no time...I suppose that was due to us knowing what we wanted to get, the the check out was easy and quick I highly recommend McPhersons for your Fruit and Vegetables needs. They are worth checking out. Plus I believe in supporting local businesses. LadyFlava of LadyFlavaNews

The quality of the produce here is excellent. It is significantly better than any of the nearby markets, including PCC or the Metropolitan Market in Mercer Island. It is not only fresh but it does not start to rot the second you get it home. And the prices are very reasonable -- much cheaper than the local markets.

Great produce! Loads of fresh fruits and veggies, along with shelves of items you didn't know you needed until you saw it. I especially like the discounted produce that is in the back, perfect if you're making a vegetable soup on the same day. Prices seem very reasonable and what we got was gorgeous. Easy parking and friendly staff.

Now, more than ever, is the time to support and buy local! Don't get me wrong, corporate supermarkets are quick and convenient at times, but you can't beat the price and quality of fresh produce stands. Today's visit at MacPherson's Fruit & Produce was a success. Not only do they have fresh beautiful produce, but for a steal! Their greens are in plentiful bundles for an amazing price, perfect for Thanksgiving ham hocks and greens. If I wasn't on such a time crunch, I would've wandered around a bit more because they had such a unique selection of fruits and veggies. Instead of driving down the street to the closest supermarket to me, I'll be making an extra ten minute trip to MacPherson's, moving forward, because it is absolutely worth it.
